This 2011 has began on the right foot for those children which frequent the foster care house "Brazos Abiertos" in Mendoza, Argentina.  Thanks to CEDA (Centro Esperanza Argentina), the foster care house which gives food and shelter to an important number of underprivileged children, has received a shipment of furniture and equipment to improve their installations, which until now, were very rudimentary.

With these donations and the tireless effort of their volunteers, the Brazos Abiertos Center for Children will be able to keep on offering the basic rights such as food and shelter, which all children no matter race, belief, color or nationality deserve.

CEDA is a non-profit organization formed in 1969 by a group of Argentinean women residing in Washington DC. The center supports some of the poorest schools and hospitals in the country, especially those located in rural areas. Their contribution usually comes in form of direct help for the children such as sneakers, jackets, clothing and school material. In no case the beneficiaries receive monetary donations, only in materials or specific jobs. CEDA counts on the work of many volunteers that organize events to raise funds for their causes. The most import source of funds comes from the annual donation of the members and those raised by cultural, social and sport events (film cycles, auctions, barbecues, etc)

Here at MG-i we understand that initiatives like these contribute positively to alleviate difficult social situations which certain countries must confront.
We take pride in contributing to their hard work by communicating these types of actions which often times go unnoticed yet obtain effective outreach in their results.
